Picnic Day UCDavis 2009 : Picnic Day is one of UCD’s most revered traditions and serves as the university's annual Open House for families, alumni, staff, faculty, prospective and current students, and the greater Davis and regional communities. It is fitting that during the Centennial Anniversary, the all-student Board of Directors has selected “Reflections: 100 years of Aggie Legacy” for the theme. This year's Picnic Day is a prominent reflection of the university’s founding, history, growth, achievements and future prospects and is the culmination of a 100-year legacy of excellence and diversity in teaching, research, service, and campus life. Picnic Day will be a time to celebrate and reflect on the past as UC Davis moves forward into its next 100 years. - From the official picnic day website: picnicday.ucdavis.edu My experience was awesome! I took about 500 photos from 10am to 7pm and had a great time hanging out with family and friends. Probably my favorite photo of the day is from the Alumni Water Polo game - you'll be able to guess the picture when you see it!
